WEDDING FAQs
What should I wear?
The Bride and Groom request that all guests wear Formal Evening Attire or Floral Formal.
Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns (preferably nothing above the knee) with floral designs, Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits (preferably navy or charcoal). If the Gentlemen cannot wear a suit, please wear dress pants with a collared shirt!
The Bride and Groom do request that all guests refrain from wearing Blue, Black suits or dress pants, and the most obvious, white!
What time should I arrive?
The Ceremony starts at 5:00PM. The Bride and Groom Request that you get to the venue no earlier than 4:30PM.
Is the Ceremony/Reception indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony is outdoors. The Mansion has hired staff that will start pick up in the parking lot and will bring you to the Sun room wear you will sit in an A/C room before the ceremony to fight the Texas heat. 10 minutes before the ceremony, the wonderful coordinators will escort the guests to the ceremony area!
Cocktail Hour will be conducted on the top level of The Mansion. An elevator is available for guests who cannot walk up the stairs!
The Reception will take place indoors on the bottom level of The Mansion.
When is the RSVP Deadline?
The RSVP Deadline is May 23rd, 2026! If you look under the 'RSVP' tab and click 'RSVP' it will take you to an Google Forms where you will fill in all of the necessary information.
Can I bring a Plus one?
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and adhere to our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Are kids invited?
We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event.
Your invitation will be made out to "The [Your Last Name] family" if your children are invited. Your invitations will say "Mr. and Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited.
We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at home!
Will there be parking at the Venue?
The Venue offers free parking to all guests the day of our wedding! However, since The Bride and Groom are getting married at a Country Club, please consider carpooling with fellow guests to guarantee ample parking!
Are there Hotel Blocks or recommended Hotels?
The bride and Groom do not have a hotel block. However under the 'Accommodations' tab you can click on the 'Book' button and it will lead you to a website to book hotels in the Bastrop area!
Can guests take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present for this special moment. Our professional photographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we will gladly share photos afterward.
Additionally, we ask that all phones and electronic devices be silenced or turned off before the ceremony begins. The bride and groom would love to keep the ceremony free from distractions — including phone calls or notifications — so everyone can enjoy the moment together.
